Default 36v to 48v question?

Thinking of going from 36v to 48v. Question is, how would a 12v marine battery work with my other 6v batteries? Trying to keep batteries out of bagwell area. Any suggestions appreciated.

How would it work? Poorly! The mismatch of amp hour capacity is a bad deal.

Thanks for the info Jim! I'll just keep the radio and lights on this battery!

It will be horrible for your other batteries. Not worth the effort to even try. Mike
