How can i take off governor/ turn up the the speed to my Ez Go golfcart?
I just got a used Ez golfcart and I want to know how to take off the governor and make the golfcart go faster. My Ez go is electric with two seats + two rear facing seats. It has the medium sized motor. I'm not sure exactly what model but the car that delivered it said that I could take out the governor and turn up the speed but he couldn't show me how. any help is appreciated

theres no gov on an electric cart, you are limited by the rpms of the motor. what model do you have? some have the ability to "chip" the motor.

O i didnt know that, i'm really interested in turning up the speed. i dont want to buy any thing though

If it's a dog, you may have other issues that are going to require an investment of $$$ Unfortunately, as stated above, there are no "Free upgrades" with a sparky. |

As was mentioned before, there's no free lunch but, depending on what you have, there may be a $5 upgrade available. What is the model number? Did you buy the cart from a dealer or privately? How fast does it go now? How fast do you want it to go? How about posting a picture of the new cart. |
