Question on Battery purchase, is there a bad time?
I need to get some new Batts. I have decided on the US2200 Us battery brand. A local Battery supplier can do them at 89.00 a piece. that seemed fair to me from what I seen online so far for that battery.
My question is, is there a bad time to buy? The thing is that I probably won't use/move the cart much until Late Mar/early April when racing picks up again. Until then I will probably just mess around on weekends here and there at the house. No real extended use. SO will that be bad for the new Batts? should I just wait until I will use it more? I was curious because of the issues with them needed many cycles before they are 100%. thanks Guys |

Buy 'em when you need 'em! If you can wiat til Spring, get them then! If not, then get 'em now and if you are in a "freezing" climate, just keep them charged...

Man you guys are quick. Thanks for the link. I searched and somehow didn't come across that one.
I don't really need them right now because I don't use it much. I just picked the cart up cause it seemed like a good deal. I am afraid if i wait, those prices will go up on the Batts and plus the biggest thing was I didn't want to screw them up, but it looks like I will be ok. |

Re: Question on Battery purchase, is there a bad time?
My supplier told me today that all batteries went up the 1st of the year. so typically you are safe for 3 months. But read all of the break-in stuff. I would want the batteries 1 - 2 mos before I really needed the cart all day so I could properly break in for 20 cycles

Re: Question on Battery purchase, is there a bad time?
For that price I would jump on them! I bought the same batteries four months and got a "deal" on them supposedly for $102.00. I found out a week later I could have got T-105's a block away for $124.00. Oh well.
