Default Good Deal????

I am new to the whole golf cart world and have enjoyed looking at everyone's rides. I do not have one yet, but found a 99 electric EZ-Go for $900 from one of the local golf courses. I want to use it for the kids at my motocross races. I also want to put a lift kit on it too. I was wondering if this sounds like a good deal or should I keep looking? BTW I didn't want to spend $4000 on a lifted cart, I figured I could at the stuff myself as I go. All help or suggestions welcomed.

Check the year of the batterys and the volts of the pack, and each battery--and check for rust around battery trays, and the steering see if its loose-----

Make sure it isn't a DCS cart. $900.00 is fair. Look at batteries, leaf springs, steering, body, tires, wheels, cables, seats and you'll have some serious coin invested in the 1999 before you know it. By the time you're done - you could easily have $4,000.00 in it...
