where to start?
I was given a 1994 ezgo series cart. The owner put new exide batteries in it, the cart will not move forward or reverse. They didn't want to spend any more money , so they give it to me. I checked the voltage of the pack and I have 36 volts. My question is where to start trouble shooting.

Re: where to start?
six in the middle. I'm trying to find a good diagram. this cart has an extra lt. bluewire in the controller harness. it has a spliced 3/8 eye on the end closet to the solenoid, then a blade terminal down towards the FNR switch. I don"t have a diagram for the wiring on the FNR switch.

Re: where to start?
Is 36 volts enough ? Shouldn't he be getting 38+ on fully charged new batteries ?

Re: where to start?
batterries have sat in cart for a while not wired up. I installed the cables today and plugged the charger in. The charger didn't come on, so I don't know if the charger is bad, or the wiring is coorect, maybe it does not see the charger. still looking for the post that had an ezgo manual for a non dcs cart

Re: where to start?
Although it may sound obvious; Are you certain of the year model ?
See if you can post up some photos of the batteries and the cart and perhaps someone will be able to let you know something else. Let's see if we can get ya some assistance. K9 |
