Rear End Oil EZGO
Anyone know what kind or weight of oil needs to go into the rear end of an ezgo. If it matters its a 2005. Does it need synthetic gear oil or transmission fluid or will regular motor oil work?

Re: Rear End Oil EZGO
Normal 30w will work, synthetic is always a good option, I believe about 8oz is all you need to add.

You can use 30wt, but i put in royal purple 75/90 gear oil. it makes them quiter. Plus I am a distributer for Royal Purple.

Re: Rear End Oil EZGO
The fill hole has a large yellow rubber plug in it. The oil level check plug is a bolt located towards the rear on the driver's side about half way up the differential.
