No power
I replaced the controller and hooked everything up and it was working. I didn’t have the cover back over the controller yet and the tow/run switch hit the controller-mounting bracket causing sparks to fly. Now I can’t get anything to work.
I replaced the controller and tow/run switch with new ones thinking the problem had to be there but it still doesn’t work. Anyone got any other thoughts? |

Re: No power
What kind of controller, there is a stickies tab here for the diagnostics on a stock one, this may point you in the right direction, maybe a couple of the other guys will chime in shortly to help more.

Re: No power
The controller is a DCX400. I just bench tested it and it appears to be working. The green light flashed four times followed by six red flashes which indicates (batter under voltage detected). I not surprised since I only used two 9 volt batteries to bench test it. Alltrex tech support had me run some checks and determined the controller isn't getting power. Makes sense since I can't get the curtis controller to work either now.

Re: No power
Never mind I found it. I guess you need to open the charger receptacle to check it?

Re: No power
NO, It was clicking in and out when I first put it in along with the new controller but it hasn't done it since I shorted the tow/run switch. I've read you can try to jump the solenoid but haven't found directions yet. I did a voltage check and I'm getting the same reading on both post.
