Default EZ Go identification help!!!

I just purchased two old EZ Go 36 volt electric carts. One has the serial number and manufacturer's number still on it, so I think I know what year it is. But "Big Red" doesnt have the numbers on it. Can anyone help me out on this?

I would appreciate it very much! Thanks in advance!!

It looks like a marathone. One of the experts will probably be along to give ya the years they were made. Good luck.

Judging by the picture taken of the front end, I would say 74 to 75.

Lift the seat and look for the ID tag on the drivers side inner fender. Then the only way to find out the year, is to call EzGo/Textron. That all I know!

I've got a 1977 parts cart that has the same front end on it. The rear end brakes on this cart said 76-81 would work. So It is in there some where.

Looks like an X440 aka Marathon. Couple of other things to check to narrow down the year. Is the motor perpendicular or parallel to the axle? Where are the resistor coils located?

The motor is perpendicular to the axles. Looks to me like the coils are back towards the rear axle. Thanks for all your help everyone.
