more info i think might help. it has six batteries so its a 36volt. f/r switch is behind your legs if your siting down and it has a rod on the other side that leads over to the passenger side were it moves an arm on an electrical box of sorts that has 4 6guage wires and some smaller wires hooked up to it. the body is plastic. and instead of a back seat theres a cargo box if you wante to call it that. infront of the f/r electrical box there is a black box with with what looks to me like an old ford selanoid bolted to it. the top of it has 3 leads marked b-,b+,m- and a blank plastic spot ,looks like an option for another lead but theres nothing there.

Tow/Run switch is located under seat / passenger side.

Ya can't miss it if you have one. It is located on the top half of the plastic cover for your controller......if you have one.

If no tow/run toggle switch, you likely have a series cart.

Your cart is a 1997 TXT Fleet/Series cart. So is mine.

it is definatly a series cart. the first dead give away was the metal rod on the shifter. The DCS carts have a micro switch shifter, as where yours has the rod. That elec. box that your rod leads to is where the switch would be if it was a DCS cart by the way, and you couldnt miss it. So you are correct 97 series cart. Have fun
