Default Wiring a 48 volt charger plug

Can anyone explain the wiring on the 48 volt charger plug shown? What is the third wire for?

It is your ignition interlock, what kind of cart do you have, series or PDS?

I have a Club Car, but I have 2 of these plugs I am selling and a fellow forum member is asking about wiring this plug to his Lester charger. I am just trying to help him figure this out.

I'm not exactly sure about the charger, but this is from the manual in the charger section, it is a wiring diagram hope it helps.

Can I wire up an ez go 48 volt power wise to my cart direct? I had a 2 wire system and the powerwise has 3 wires? Where do I connect them? I want to wire it as an onboard charger if possible. Old charge port on cart is a 2 prong crows foot. I want to connect to batteries direct
