Default Powerwise Charger

Just traded lifted 01 club car 48 v. for a lifted 02 ez go 36 v pds. everything runs fine, but my question is? It came with what i belive is a powerwise charger, approx. 12 inches long, 4'' wide, 4'' deep, with led on the end. Is this the correct charger for this cart or did it come with the powerwise II, from the factory. Also, charger flashes red fault light at begining of cycle, then turns to green flashing within seconds, every now and then the red light flashes once and then green starts flashing again, is this normal.

thanks in advance for your advice, Im new to ez go and still trying to figure it out.

the charger you have is the newer style charger. the big bulky chargers are pretty much a thing of the past. All my new carts from early production of 08 came with the small charger. Now the older big heavy charger IMO are better but they cost twice what the charger you have. The charger you have is also non-rebuildable, but the older big charger is. Your cart ORIG came with the big bulk charger. There is nothing wrong using the small charger on your cart.

As far as LED's go. I have seen several chargers do this and some that do not. I have yet to get a clear answer on what is goin on.
