Solenoid Replacement Problem
I replaced the stock solenoid on my 1998 Ezgo Regen DCS 36 volt golf cart and now when I turn on the ignition it jumps into gear without pressing down the accelerator? I connected the wires onto the new solenoid exactly as they were on the original solenoid. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Solenoid Replacement Problem
IF the wires are exactly correct, then you may have a bad solenoid. Put the old one back in to verify

Re: Solenoid Replacement Problem
If you have access to meter, check for continuity between the large posts when the key is off. Solenoid may be stuck with the contacts closed. (I'm going on the assumption that your wiring is correct, and that nothing has been shorted while you were "under the hood")
