Default Frame question 2000 TXT

I picked up a 2000 TXT yesterday that I am going to stretch. Problem is the front of the cart is crunched. I am trying to find out the measurement from the front of the seat wrap to the top of the frame upright where it is welded to the dash plate. The cart that I picked up is pushed back considerably. I am going to cut it all out and rebuild the front, just need to know at what angle to put the uprights so that the dash and front cowl fits right. Any ideas as to where I can get these measurements?

None right now. It is stripped to the frame with the floorboard removed. The uprights on the front where the top mounts are welded to are pushed back, on both sides. These uprights are welded to the plate that the dash sits on. I am trying to get the measurement from the front of the seat wrap to the uprights, or for that matter the top of the floorboard just under the dash. I think that the best way is for me to go to the local shop and see if they will let me take measurements, but I was wondering if there is anything out there like a drawing the shows factory measurements for the frame.

I've never seen any drawings like you are asking about. I'm still trying to figure what exactly you are describing on where you need measurements from?

Ok take the cart in your avatar. Where the front post for your top/roll bar mounts to the frame. That frame piece that the top/roll bar is mounted to goes from the bottom frame next to the brake pedal mount, up and angled forward, and is welded to the plate that the plastic dash fits on. There is one of these frame pieces on each side of the cart, where both sides of your front top/roll bar post mounts. If I get a measurement from the top of that frame piece back to the top of the seat wrap, or the front of the seat frame, then when I weld the new front frame/clip on it I know that the angle will be correct for the dash and cowl to fit right.

I may be describing this wrong. I am at work and not at home where the cart is. I am a Marathon man, and this is my first venture with anything but a Marathon. The frame on the TXT is completely different from a Marathon and I only looked at it for a little bit.

I am just north of Houston. Thanks for the offer but I found out what I needed to know today.

By the way the cart is a 1999, not a 2000.
