Default Too many Batteries???

I converted my 09' Sport 2+2 to 48 volts. I bought new Trojan 875 batteries and used a six 8 volt setup. I am rethinking that decision because it seems I will be taking a big hit on battery endurance. I still have my Trojan T105 batteries and can buy 2 more to go to the eight 6 volt setup.
My concern in weight. I have added a single 12 volt marine battery for accessories so there will be 9 batteries in the cart that should total approx. 540 lbs.
From what I can tell the specs show the weight limit is 800 lbs. I weigh 200 so now that puts me at 740 lbs. If I carry passengers then I will be way over the 800.
Will the stock springs handle this or should I go to a more heavy duty rear spring????

I don't think they count the batteries in the load... Original batteries were about 384 pounds. Anything you added over that would fall under the load capacity.

Just my opnion but I would go find me some heavy duty springs before I go put more batts in. Then if you want to you are already set up for it, if not the HD springs won't hurt to have carrying the extra weight of passengers.

Thanks Scotty....did not think aboout the stock battery load not being a part of the equation. That makes more sense to me now. I am used to dealing with boats where all added weight becomes a factor.
