Quick Fix??? I hope!
ezgo model 07m95. I did basic maintenance for a neighbor. Cleaned connections and replaced some of them. Checked water level etc...
I had to charge each battery seperately in order for the charger to come on. 38.6 volts when complete. Ran it for several miles. Put it back on charge that night. The neighbor said when he came to get it the next morning the cart ran for several yards and he heard a pop and now nothing. Not even the reverse buzzer sounds. |

Re: Quick Fix??? I hope!
Thanks for the welcome. I can't find a fuse anywhere. I took the cover off the controller and still no hidden fuse. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

Re: Quick Fix??? I hope!
sounds like a loose connection to me. you did work on the battery cables i assume. did you crimp the lugs good. did all the cables tighten back up properly? just a thought here thats where i would start especially if it was running before your work. murphys law applies when i work on stuff. good luck

Re: Quick Fix??? I hope!
Check the pack voltage again, if it's not in the 38v range, check each battery individually. You may have a bad battery or connection.
Not all carts have a main battery fuse, check the small fuse on the seat panel.. Next check the reed switch and micro switches on the F-N-R control. Next check the ignition switch. |

Thanks guys reed switch was it. I bypassed it by looking at a photo on another thread. Is this ok and what exactly does the reed switch do? Thanks again.

Re: Quick Fix??? I hope!
Good job. The reed switch is a safety that will not allow your cart to be energized until after it is unplugged. Bypassing this switch harms nothing. String your plug through the steering wheel to prevent accidental drive off with the charger attached.
