best 8 v battery

Any preferences on the best 8 volt batteries? I am saving my $$ for six 8 volts. Trojans here in Birmingham, AL. are $98.20/ea. I am going to price US battery. I was planning to go with the ~170 ah batts. Any advice?

my 8 volts are the Trojan 875's. Cost me $720 installed with a new set of 4ga. cables. Love em'!!

That is a good price, I found the 860s for 780. Where did you find that deal bokeasmowl?

98 bucks is a good price for trojans,I think they are good batteries,also look at crown,u.s.,exide,I have used them all with good results.

got them from a local cart shop, gas money from Az will kill that deal though!

gas is pretty expensive in AZ now, prices going back up. It sucks.
