Default 88 ez go

I got the golf cart out a couple weeks ago and let the kids drive it around till the batteries drained, charged the cart took it out for a ride, it was running great, i stopped put it in reverse and it did nothing put it back in forward and it does nothing now. I have a charge guage installed in the cart and it shows that the charge is good. Where should I start troubleshooting this thing to figure out what the problem is? Solonoid, forward reverse switch, micro switch, batteries?

Keep it charged during storage? Tough on batteries if not.
Check all connections/cables.
Does this cart have a controller?

Does not have a controller and it's been kept charged all winter. Would water levels in batteries have anything to do with this? I got to looking at the batteries a little bit better and noticed that the the three batteries on the drivers side are a little low, even below the cells.

Letting the plates get exposed to air is bad for them. Charging them while exposed to air is damaging and will compromise the useful life of a wet cel battery.....
but you problem came on suddenly and your charge indicator says you have enough power to go? Sounds like a loose connection.
