Using fogging oil for battery terminal protection
After completing the ritual of battery cleaning with baking soda & water, I discovered I had nothing on the shelf other than WD40 and a can of OMC fogging oil. I figured the Fogging oil might be the better choice than the WD40.
Sure enough, the Fogging oil hardened to a waxy solid film within a few mins. Any comments on the wisdom of using this product to prevent oxidation/ corrosion taking place certainly appreciated Thanks . |

Re: Using fogging oil for battery terminal protection
So far it's looking good. I'll keep checking for corrosion every week or so.
Thanks . |
