another battery question
was wondering! would a carts speed slow down at all tword the end of a battery packs life? will a cart gain any speed after getting new batteries and replacing the batteries that are about 4 years old or are we just talking about longevity differences in the new batteries? just curious! thanks!

Re: another battery question
Depending on the condition of your current battery pack, yes, a new pack will deliver more speed and torque.

Re: another battery question
hmm interesting! ya my batteries test out ok to my knowing! i did a hydrometer test and a voltmeter test and everything checked out OK for the most part! i have 1 battery in ? from the hydrometer test that i am going to retest this week! my batteries just last about 27 holes on the golf course but i didnt know if that was good/average/ or below average on the longevity side of things! any ideas about how long a normal pack should last?

Re: another battery question
They should go 2 rounds at least. See if the caddyshack has a load tester. Maybe you can pinpoint the problem.

Re: another battery question
im going to scoop up a battery meter as well this weekend! maybe this way i can actually watch the progress or rather the digress of the batteries as i play and see how they are depleating! its weird sometimes they go longer than others! i think maybe they are just ending their life slowly! i bought the cart used and dont know much about the batteries besides what i have tested! cant find dates on them either so i only can assume what the guy who sold them to me told me! he said they were 2-3 years old! that probably translates to truth of being about 5 LOL
