ezgo won't go
I sold a 2000 model stock series txt to my sister. She called me today and said it just stopped going. It is an intermittent problem, sometimes it goes, sometimes it doesn't. My brother -in-law said he moved the forward/reverse switch back and forth and that didn't help. While it was inoperable, he said when he pressed the pedal repeatedly, it felt like it tried to go some of the time. He checked battery voltage, connections, etc.
I know there could be several reasons for this, but can anyone tell us where to start? I am familiar with electricity, switching, relays, etc., and know how to use a meter. Thanks, Kenny |

Re: ezgo won't go
Many times it is a bad cable or connection. I know you said they checked but give the cables a tug and make doubly sure. Individual battery and pack voltages, check solenoid; any noise?; microswitches especially ITS micro.
Yeah, you're right. Any number of things. Ya just gotta start ruling some of them out one at a time starting with simplest. Batteries, cables, connections. |

Re: ezgo won't go
I suppose you forgot to tell her that the warranty expired when it left the driveway huh?! j/k. Check the simple stuff first, like pggroves said, a cable might look good but put hands on them and make sure.

Re: ezgo won't go
Does the reverse buzzer still sound, check voltage like others have said. You also mentioned that it tried to go sometimes, check your rear wheels and make sure rear hub is not stripped.
