US 2200 vs T105 vs cr-225
I am looking at three batteries to replace my current t-105 that are about 6 years old.
t-105 for $95 a battery us 220 for $85 a battery cr-225 for $101 a battery (I will have to pay about 15 bucks shipping on each of these) Anyone have any opinions on these? I live in MN, so the winter can be tough on the batteries.. thanks |

For the crown batteries, there isn't a store near here. The price was quoted from a distribution center in Chicago.

Still 90 dollars for shipping seems steep, road trip to Iowa or some place.

90 dollars is pretty steep, but I guess 408 lbs for 400 miles... Seems not too bad with those firgues, but the point would be what battery do you guys prefer?

The Crown is the best of those with the US and the Trojan About even today IMO.
HOWEVER ....... You mention winter being tough on batteries. It doesn't have to be, it shouldn't be. this will have more to do with what kind of service you get for your $ than what brand of battery you buy ~ again, IMHO |

Re: US 2200 vs T105 vs cr-225
I understand taking care of a battery and battery maintance are important, but anytime a battery drops below zero it is tough on it.
I know you could store this is a heated area, but since I store this in an non heated shed, it will be tough on the batteries. |

This makes no sense to me ... A fully charged battery will not freeze .
