Default Ignition and Forward/Reverse Wiring Question

OK...here are the wires. I need some help to make sure they are wired correctly.
The FWD/REV switch is connected to the ignition via a yellow jumper. The ignition switch also has a blue/blk wire. The forward/reverse switch has two red wires that are jumped to the green wire, the blue wire is a direct connection to the switch. Can anyone explain what the blk/red, green and blue wires are supposed to do? This will help me tremendously. I bought this cart used and didn't do the wiring! But, I did have the cowl off and wired some lights. The lights work but no power is going to the motor when the ignition is on and in Forward. Just installed brand new Enegizer C2's and now won't start.

Default Re: Ignition and Forward/Reverse Wiring Question

OK...the blue wire from the FWD/REV switch goes to a orange wire that is from the harness. The green wire splits into a red wire (to harness) and red/orange wire to the run/tow. The blk/red from the ignition goes to the solinoid. I'm trying to figure out what needs to happen so I can re-wire it correctly, if that is necessary. It worked in the current state before I added lights and replaced the batteries. But, there is always the chance that I messed something up in the process. Can't wait to get her running...again!
