Welcome

How old are the batteries you have now??

you will need a controller $300- 400 --and a lot more things that will be talked about
after some more info from you

How much do you have to spend on the change, and what wil this cart be used for???

There are varying levels of upgrade but the basic conversion will cost about $1100 for controller, solenoid, charger, potentiometer, cables. In addition you will need 48v worth of batteries.

Just what scottyb said -

do you have a motor now what volts is it???

12V converter to run your lights and acc.

charger--48v

Controller-48V

solenoid--48V

F / R switch-48V

potentiometer

And I think you will be happy, and it will do what you want it to do

you have to put all new stuff in the cart, so I would change it to 48V for it to do what you what it to do, and if you can get a used stock 36V motor and run it on 48V it will have more power for hunting
