Default controller ticking cart not moving

hello to all let me intro my self im from southern nj and have a 2005 ez pds electric my problem: yesterday my son riding in field and all of a sudden cart stopped i checked it today it is fully charged but when i step on the gas pedal i hear and FEEL a tricking coming from the tow run switch box the cart makes an effort to move but only about an inch any thoughts or solutions would be great thanks

You are describing a controller failure. We need more info about your cart and a list of any modifications to advise ....
Does your cart switch F&R on the dash or behind the driver's knee?

it does have switch on dash no real electrical accessories except a light kit that has been on it for about a year and it is lifted with a spindle lift

Did you put bigger tires on it with the lift kit?

yes 22 11 10 they have been on there for 2yrs

Well if the power is getting thru the solenoid to the controller and the cables are all good and connections are sound ... then you have a controller failure. Controller damage is accumulative, meaning for 2 yrs you have been running big tires in the dirt fields on a stock controller and it is probably fried?

Check the solenoid with a voltmeter to see if power is getting from big terminal to big terminal when it clicks .....

Thanks for your help after futher investigation one of the main leads had a cracked wire replaced it and now it is fine...thanks again
