Default Help with Battery Charger Compatibility

As I mentioned last week, I picked up a 2005 EZGO TXT. The original batteries have been replaced with Champion CPGC-110's. The person I bought the cart from also threw in a brand new charger- DPI 36V with (4) Modes - Mode 1- US Battery, Mode 2- Trojan T108, Mode 3 Trojan T105 and Mode 4- Excide.

Can I use this charger with these Champion batteries? I am a newbie at all this so I have no idea?

Thanks
Z

Default Re: Help with Battery Charger Compatibility-Update

After reading the tag, my DPI Charger is factory pre-set to Mode 2 (Trojan). I plugged it into he car for the first time yesterday and seemed to charge fine, as a green steady LED ewas displayed.

Another newbie question. How long do I leave it plugged in. Iknow my charger has a feature that "disables" it from AC Power when it recognizes a full charge, but just not sure if I should unplug once cart is completely charged?

Thanks
Z
