Default EZGO Rear End Clicking Noise

Hey all, just looking for some insight to save myself some grief..I had rebuilt the motor of a 2000 PDS cart and after installing the rear end started acting up (Knocking when accelerating). Dropped it and cleaned, pressed on new bearings, switched out the input gear (input teeth were worn) and reinstalled..Started hearing a different sound: When decelerating from mid to full speed, I hear a clicking..just about the same interval as the intermediate gear rotates..so then i started noticing the cart making a knocking sound when in reverse (as if the armature is tapping the field every revolution) which I can feel when the input gear is in the housing. So I threw another motor on it and the reverse knocking was gone..but NOW a clicking from the motor every revolution..hardly noticeable when driving outside..not really worried about that but am trying to figure out the rear end clicking..I really dont want to take the rear end off again and check everything..when I spin the wheels with the motor off, there is no click.. I'm assuming a load is needed for true tests..I'm, just about to throw another rear end I have on it but am just looking for anyone who may have experienced similar issues and know sure fire tests to save me the headache..

I dunno if it is going to make any difference in the noise issue but the correct differential oil is 30 wt motor oil.

I had a clicking sound once, thought it was in the axle, instead it was a loose lugnut. I had changed wheels and hadn't tightened one all the way down.
