Default cart clicks but no go

We have a EZGO electric. Cart was running fine Wednesday...parked it... Thursday tried to go and the pedal clicks, back up beeps, but cart will not go. We have 38V coming from batteries, so don't think that's it. We tried bypassing the reed switch...no luck. Now what? Date Code:D0105 Model TXTECSTL SN: 2249820

I am having the same problem today. It ran fine to back up out of garage and then when I went in to place it in Forward it will not go. I can hear the Pedal click and feel it. I have a 2001 EZGO TXT that is a series model. Could this be the FNR or Controller? I also have 38 v batteries all test great power throughout. ANy ideas as to what this could be?

you both say you are hearing the pedal click but are you hearing the solenoid click?

one of the biggest problems I had as a tech for E-Z-GO was the wiring from the battery compartment to the keyswitch breaking due to the routing of the wires and it's tendancy to collect grass clippings at the point where the frame curls upward for the dash. If that area wasn't kept clean (and lord knows those $6 an hour cart boys never bent down to wash it), the grass clippings (that had fertilizer mixed in0 would degrade the wiring and suddenly the cart wouldn't go due to a broken wire to the keyswitch.

Yes, the solenoid is clicking/engaging. All voltage checked out okay. The key switch checked out good. The solenoid checked out good. When pushing pedal, the cart will not move either forward or backward. Any other suggestions out there?

check the connections on the back of the F&R and at the motor, sounds like you may have a wire burnt off somewhere. If everything is tight and connected, then we can start checking controller voltages.
