ezgo txt speed and torque
I installed a 5" lift on my cart (05 ezgo electric txt) with bigger tires, understandably I have lost some torque/speed on hills and off road. Is there a simple fix for this. I mean to increase or at least get what I used to have? Read allot of threads about increase speed but on a tight budget.

Up Grade the controller for more power. Is your cart Series or PDS?

Re: ezgo txt speed and torque
Torque is a function of current. Current is limited by the controller. Get a larger current controller.

Re: ezgo txt speed and torque
a bit pricey for me but for reference here is something I tried (read on a thread) I had to remove the break cable to get the lift installed, I think it was a little tight so loosened it and wala! more speed and torque.
Thanks for the suggestions! |

Re: ezgo txt speed and torque
The FIRST thing you need is a complete set of 4 gauge cables

Re: ezgo txt speed and torque
I'm actually about to upgrade to a complete set of 2 guage (probably overkill) for now......is there anything i need to change out with it? It's completely stock except for lift and tires..........just doing it a little bit at a time. Doesn't affect the pocket book quite SOOOOO much.
