Forward/Reverse Switch Assembly
Cart when placed in forward or reverse wants to go on its own. I have replaced the solenoid and the Forward/Reverse assembly and situation is still the same.

Re: Forward/Reverse Switch Assembly
1984 Ez GoTextron Electric Cart. Replaced solenoid and front/reverse switch. Problem of wanting to go on its own still remains.

Re: Forward/Reverse Switch Assembly
I know this may seem like a dumb question, but is the pedal all the way up, I mean when you put it in forward/reverse it starts moving well reach down and pull up the pedal make sure it is all the way up. Helped out someone with this similar problem, it was just the pedal.

Re: Forward/Reverse Switch Assembly
It's a mechanical linkage to the wiper arm. Make sure the wiper arm and movable contact allows a full and complete motion down to the bottom post/contact.

Re: Forward/Reverse Switch Assembly
When you put the cart in gear, do you hear the solenoid activate? If not, do you hear it activate whenyou turn on the keyswitch? This sounds like you have a stuck Micro. Most likely one is the micro just under and forward of the Solenoid on the Accel board.
