2005 pds/ need thinking caps
I have a 2005 pds all wires have been upgraded to 4 guage inclusive of all wires on controller. This weekend we went to the hunt club and we took on some hills and mud. Cart shutdown a few times due to thermal overload I assume and we did have some weight on the cart a few times. Brought the cart home cleaned it up and had no problems. Today went to take kids for a ride backed out of garage no problems went to go in foward and she was a no go. The weird thing is the SOC meter is on but the LED is very faint and I do not here the solenoid clicking. I do here a click at the pedal. A few weeks a go it did the same thing and I had to fiddle with the tow/run switch and it would get going so i figured maybe a short with the tow/run switch. The thing that scares me is I can't even get it to go into diagnostic mode. I have already ordered a HD solenoid for the cart, its coming in a day or two. HELP!!

Battery pack is at 37.6 volts will not move at all in either f/r. The SOC meter is very faint when on. No buzzer in reverse cant get it to go into diagnostic mode.

Re: 2005 pds/ need thinking caps
Go to the stickies tab, locate the manual for your cart and download. In there you will find a complete diag section for your cart.
Is this the stock controller in you PDS? |

Re: 2005 pds/ need thinking caps
Go to the stickies to make sure, but you may have burnt your controller, not for sure, but it did beep at you prior to you taking off with the kidos. Go through the diag and let us know what you find, you will need a multi meter.

Re: 2005 pds/ need thinking caps
I did the controller test and the voltage matched up with solenoid on pos side and when i went to other side of solenoid i only lost .5 volts so i think that means I'm good on right?
