Default Bad Boy Buggie Rant

Well everyone I need to vent for a minute here,

I am very amazed that Bad Boy Buggie wouldn't jump at the chance to grab some exposure and good publicity for their product, here we have two of these carts on top of the world, the Greenland ice sheet, being used by scientists and the National Science Foundation for clean air research. I can't even get one of their reps. on the phone or to call me back. It's amazing both of the carts are not working, I am getting the runaround with the distributor we purchased them from, no one wants to make a sale or impress the customer. I have been asking for service manuals, parts diagrams, wiring schematics, and they laugh at me like I am crazy. "take it to your dealer" they say, WHAT!!!!! There isn't even a road for 500 miles I would have to load it onto a Herc C-130 and fly it to New York. I could buy a new one for that price. If I was the owner of the company I would be shipping these things out for free to scientists in Antarctica and Greenland. Giving them away to the National Science Foundation. The amount of publicity you would get from science about clean vehicles not mudding up the test results, would earn you a lifetime of business. It will take a lot to change my mind about the Bad Boy Company, If anyone knows of a reputable manufacture of an all wheel drive buggie let me know because these two are going into the recycle bin.

I can understand your frustration at their lack of professionalism. You are in luck. I am a mobile golf cart mechanic in need of a summer vacation

Lucky you specified "summer vacation", you would not want to be there in winter. BTW, if you go, take lots of insect repellent, the flying creatures there are big enough to carry off small children.

I'm going to move this to a forum where it will get more exposure. I sent badboy an email a while back and got a diagram for the Series carts so I dont understand this. I sent an email to Badboy on BBBH's behalf WEEKS ago and asked for the Sepex diagram and explained the situation and got no response. If this company can't even get a simple diagram to a client then they are no better than the useless imported chinese junk that has no support or parts stream. (by the way, the diagram I recieved was HAND DRAWN. )

I hate to say it, but according to the local Bad Boy Dealer in my area, there ISN'T any form of diagram for these carts (mainly because they keep changing things in them constantly). I've done a ton of work on these bad boy's and I have talked to numerous company techs and engineers and they are as clueless as the rest of us are regardign their own carts...... Sad but true.

As for the Chinese stuff, I have had no problem getting support for the EXCAR's that we currently have in stock. I talk to the Engineers via Email almost daily.
