EZ-Go Charger problem
Hello everyone, I have a 2006 or so EZ-GO with a power wise 28115 charger. Recently the cart wouldn't take a charge when I plugged it in, no click no ammetter deflection no hum nothing. I took the charger home and found a blown fuse and the diodes checked bad as well. In the meantime I plugged my cart into a friends charger which is identical to mine. Two days (one charge on my cart per day) later his charger had problems. My cart will still work in another charger but his has a bad fuse and what appears to be bad diodes. So is it coincidence or is my cart "eating chargers"? is this a common problem? I don't think it's my cart because it took a couple days for the problem to come up, if I had a short in my cart I think it would have blown immediately.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! |

Re: EZ-Go Charger problem
I see I've still gotten no reply, but anyway I changed the diode package and the fuse in both my charger and my friends so far, after three charges, no problems.

Re: EZ-Go Charger problem
I have also been goin thru fuses and diode packs here lately. I am not sure if it aint the heat that is causing them to go bad.
