Default Motor or Batteries

I have an '07 Txt/Medalist that I have been working on. I replaced the F/R switch and then changed out the body on it.

Now that I have all got every thing back together it will not go. I have check all the voltages on the battery pack and each individual battery and everything seem to be alright. The cart just will not move, it tries to move both in forward and reverse at first but then it really does nothing.

Is there someway that I could have hooked up the wires wrong on the F/R switch?

any help will be greatly appreciated and welcomed.

if the cart moved b4 you replaced the f-n-r switch than i would suspect that is your issue. recheck your wires and check the copper lugs carefully. they are very soft and tend to break/stretch and this causes issues.

aslso check the red wire goin to the charge recepticle. if its broken the cart wont move.

CourtesyCart,

I have checked all the lugs on the new F/R switch and everything looks good to me.

The red wire coming from the charging port test out as okay. It was one of the first things that I checked ......thought I had a problem with charging the cart, so I checked all the wiring for the charging port to make sure there were not any broken wires.

Just thought of somethng that might be a little bit more of help. After first installing the new F/R , the cart moved okay. The batteries were a little low but okay. Some kids were riding it while I was away and ran the batteries down real bad (about 20% based on the voltage chart). I just thought the cart needed to be recharge but that has not fixed the problem.

I am wondering if the kids pushed the cart in the building with the F/R switch being in the forward or reverse position. I was told at one time that would damage the motor.

all help will be greatly appreciated and welcomed

There is somewhere on here a graph on how to put 36V on the motor to bypass the controller and solenoid.

does the solenoid click?

yes it does ..........everything acts like it is trying to work correctly but it is just not moving.

Noticed with me checking everything out and trying different things that the battery pack is loosing voltage really fast .............started at 38.4V now back 36V.

maybe the batteries are bad after all.
