1987 ez-go electric gear change need help

I have a 1987 ez-go shuttle want to change gear ratio. Can't find, any suggestions? What the new 15 to 1: like the 88 and newer.

I dont think they make gears for that years, is it the perpindicular or "t" shape axle and motor thing.
