How do you check a 1206 controller off the cart

Could someone please let me know if there is a way to check a 1206 ezgo controller that is off the cart to see if it is good ??

not really . The controller needs to be on the cart to test output.

You could hook it up to a battery pack and an ITS throttle assembly and a motor ... wait

all that's a golf cart
