Recommendations on replacing battery compartment supports?
I picked up a 93 Manhattan that has little or no preventative maintenance. When I pulled the batteries I found the battery rack is in pretty bad shape. Some of the bottom supports have been eaten away. I am looking for recommendations on how to rebuild the battery compartment.
Is there a kit that can be bolted in or will everything have to be custom made? Should the new supports be steel or aluminum should they be made of flat medal or angle? What should the new supports be coated with the reduce acid damage? |
