It appears just the takeoff was changed with the battery change. Topend may have been a little higher but, couldn't find my GPS. Amp draw with the odyessey's was 310amps @ the end of an 1/8 and voltage drop was 42v. So, still getting a significant drop, amp draw is about 30 amps less, but the best thing is ET's were a full 2 seconds to 2.3 seconds faster. Just an update.

@athomas03-
That's very cool! So the smaller/lighter pack helped a lot getting to speed faster. As long as it can sustain the brutal amp draw, that seems to be the ticket.

Does your cart reaches a point during the run where you can feel the motor dropping torque and then just holding speed? Judging by the 310 amps at the end of the run it sure don't seem like it but I'm still curious what it feels like.

Thanks for the update!

It just kind of levels out, I stayed wide open throttle for 23 seconds. The amps kept easing down to 285amps at the end, speed leveled probably still around 50mph maybe slighly faster. This was at 48v, I'll test 72v next.
