Default 96 TXT shudders - won't go

Have a 96 TXT that slowly had troubles holding a charge. Believe it is DCS (controler has Run - Tow/Maintenance switch. Changed batteries. F/R buzzer works but when I depress pedal the cart shudders a bit but won't go forward. Checked all battery connections. Please help

Check the brushes in the motor, or cables running from the motor to the controller needs replacement.

Age of batteries? Voltage of pack? Voltage under load?

Batteries are brand new. I ran the troubleshooting check found posted here. Voltage at the battery posts is 38.3. It is the same at the battery side of the solenoid. Was unsure of what wires 1, 2, 3 & 4 to the controller are for the continuity check so I went to the next step. The voltage on the controller side of the solenoid dropped 11 volts to 27.1. According to that post that means my resistor is bad? Would that it behave this way?

If you have a DCS cart and you had too low of a voltage you could of damaged the controller. DCS carts are very picky about this, is the cart have any mods?

#1 is power
#2 and #3 are the throttle input
#4 is half speed reverse

what are you getting for voltage on each side of the solenoid with the pedal down?
