Default EZGO Problem

Not sure if this is where I ask a question to you brains out there, if not please direct me.... I have a 1991 EZGO electric, and my daughter was out driving it the other day, pulled up in the yard stopped, and it hasn't run since. When you turn the cart on, and push on the gas, it clicks like it always did before, except now it won't go? HELP.....

Sounds like your solenoid, but I not as familiar with the older carts, as before some of the elders will be along shortly....

well first we need to know if it is a resistor cart or a solid state cart? If possible post a pic of what you have under the seat.

OK first thing to do is chaeck all your wiring. Those carts (and yes, I own 1) are notorious for burning off a wire end at the motor (make sure you check all 4 studs on the motor).

After that, we can start verifying voltages throughout the system.

I have check every wire on the cart, and they are all good.

One question I have though, when you upgrade wires, as I did on my batteries, is it a must, or just a good idea to upgrade all wires on the cart? I upgraded my battery wires to 4 guage, and all wires leading to motor controller, ect. are still 6 guage stock.... Would this have caused something to fail?
