470ohm 1/2 w vs 470ohm 10w?
Besides the obvious 9.5 points, what is the difference in the two for use as a precharge resistor in my 48 volt conversion?

The 10w will handle a "boost" battery setup better. It's a tougher design and will last you longer. Cost difference between the 2 shouldn't be that bad, I would go with the bigger one personally.

Thanks. That was the largest watt Radio Shack had. I called the local EZ-GO shop and they have them in stock. Going to run but there this afternoon and pick one up. Don't need to chance a set up on a weak $2.00 item.
