Default slippen

i just got a new cart!!!! well after i went down small hill maybe 2 feet i dessided to turn around, well i backed up went to go back up hill and it had a grinding noise near motar, well un bolted motar, turned good and while it was off i moved cart rear moved good and too me the teeth looked good male and female!!! put back togather same thing///// do yall know what this could be??? butt its like a grinding slippen noise????

sounds like a striped brake hub, check the rear axle, the nut in the center that holds the hub on and see if the nut spins when you step on the pedal this should be your problem

It could be but you said you checked the motor and it was good right??

Ezgo is known for stripping out the hub on the axle. check this I think thats what it is, It's a easy fix if it is the hub
