1981 E Z GO Electric
I just bought a 1981 e z go 36 volt electric car. I didn't realize when I bought it that it was that old. No big deal it was in great shape just needed batteries. I am looking for parts and lift for it. I have looked through all the sponsors here but i am not finding a heck of alot of options for this old of a cart.
I would like to get a lift and tires, rear seat, light kit and some other stuff any suggestions? Thanks |

Re: 1981 E Z GO Electric
You can use square tube ontop the rear leaf springs to raise the rear. I did mine 1.5" & wasn't hard at all to do.
Lifting the front is a bit more complicated if you have a single leaf spring. If you look at where the leaf springs attach they are actually recessed inside the tire rim. So you are going to need wheel spacers (2") to allow adding 1.5" to the hanger. You might be able to do all this 2" but I wouldn'ty suggest any higher. Ross |
