Default ez go electric gear case oil

Hello
I have a 1983 ez go textron. I am trying to figure how to fill and check the gear case oil, There is a plug on the top of the gear case and some sort of plastic fitting that does not seem to be removable, located on the drivers side of the gear case. I read somewhere that you should use 30 w oil in there. Any advise would be appreciated.Slowly learning about me "new cart"
thanks

I found a rubber cap on the rear of the case,at mid height, I pulled it off and I am guessing that I fill through the threaded upper hole until the oil comes out of the hole at the rubber cap

Specifically you will want the 30 wt non detergent type. This way it will not foam.

Is the drain hole also used as the fill hole?
