Default 96 txt dcs need help please

I have a 96 txt dcs. I was riding the cart, stoped for a moment stepped on the petal and nothing. Towed it back to the house. tried it again in forward & rew. The soliniod clicks once, and dose not disengage until you turn off the key or swich from forward or rew. I left the tow run switch in run came back the next weekend the bats were dead. recharged the bats Still just ckicks once, and dose not move. Reed switch is already bypassed. Bats are good conections are tight. Need ANY help I can get.

Thanks Boompa..

Put a battery cable on the solenoid from one large terminal to the other large terminal. If the cart does not run it is a blown controller. If it does run replace the solenoid and resistor board.
