Default Floorboard holes in 95 36V medalist

Recently I was working on underfloor throttle microswitch and have the floor rubber mat removed and noticed factory holes on driver's side fire wall. Kinda reminds me of the old high-beam headlight floor switches on cars & trucks as it is a larger center hole flanked on each side by two smaller diameter holes. What is this for ?... Is it factory or has "someone" manufactured a switch area or something else for this ?..The holes are clean and perfectly spaced so it appears factory, no jagged drilled edges or tool marks
