surging problem
i recently swapped out the motor in my ez go golf cart and since then while riding i feel it sort of surging on the top end. it was a used motor. does that problem sound like the motor or sme other component? any ideas??

Re: surging problem
No it doesn't have a high/low switch...sounds almost like a pot box issue.

Re: surging problem
A pot box is the throttle...it is sorts like or variable resistor. E-z-go's throttle runs from 0 ohm (0% throttle) to 5k ohm (100% throttle) You will have to get a volt/ohm meter to check it.

Re: surging problem
Follow the accelerator linkage under the cart. When you press the gas, you are moving the potentiometer.
