Default 94 EZGO Medalist HELP!!

Hey guys, I bought a used cart a couple weeks ago without a charger. It had a little juice left in it, but not much. I got her home, and purchased an ezgo power wise II charger and got it today. Plugged it up for a couple hours, then disconnected and tried to run it. It would not do anything.
At least before it would move. Its not doing anything now, no clicks, or anything.
Im totally frustrated as what to do. That charger wasnt cheap either. Is there a fuse somewhere that maybe got blown? Or how can I check it out?
Thanks

Have you checked the pack voltage? If it falls too low the charger won't work I.e. Below 28v on a 36v pack.

The guy I got it from tried to charge it w/ a 12v charger.

I bought the correct 36v charger. When I got it, you could press the pedal, and you would feel it engage then go just a little bit, then it would just kind of shudder.

Now it does nothing. When you press the pedal, you cant hear or feel anything. No clicks, nothing engaging, nada...

Totally frustrated. I see under the seat that there are 6 Trojan batteries
one has a slightly corroded terminal which im cleaning as we speak. What is the thing called that the rod from the F/R switch goes to called? It has all kinds of little wires on it and bigger wires. I need to see if I have a meter here. My fluke is at work.

I would just like to hear something click or something, jeez... About to push it out in the front yard with a for sale sign...

Also, when I plugged in the EZGO charger, the amps went way up to like 30+, then as it charged, they slowly came down, little by little. When I unplugged it the charger gauge was around 4....I left it plugged in for a couple hours

If those batteries will take a charge ~ it will take 12 -16 hrs in their present condition. We need to know the present pack voltage reading to further advise. Do you have a DVM?

we need to know the volt of the batteries, and pack volts??

Can you tell us what year the batteries are, it is stamped on the battery post, there will be a letter and a number stamped in the lead

And that is your F/R switch, with the wires and the rod is going to it

simple question. have you checked the water level in the batts?
you can charge the batts 2 at at time with a 12 volt charger.

I believe Scotty was referring to a digital volt meter-DVM. I think if the cart has in such a discharged state that it had no juice left and was shuttering, then it sat for a week or two until the charger arrived, the batteries are probably too far down and need to be brought back up so the charger can do its job. If we can get some volt readings, we'll know.
