Question 2002 EZGO PDS speed problem

I have a 2002 PDS with great batteries. Start out fine, then goes about 200 feet then slows to a crawl. Please help. Thanks I have checked batteries.

Is the cart lifted with large tires?
Do you know which performance "chip" is installed in your controller?
Great batteries? How did you check them? How old are they? Are all the plates covered with water/acid?
Is this a new problem? What has been done to the cart recently?

The cart is stock all the way. no chip. I have tried it with three different sets of batteries. It just started doing this. I stop everything was fine, then I went to go the next day and it started this. I would appreciate any help you can give

The next time it slows to a crawl get a voltage reading across the pack as well as each battery. Also, since it is a PDS there is a self-diagnostic mode that MIGHT give an indication of the problem (as long as your reverse alarm is working). I do not recall the procedure to enter diagnostic mode.

Check all cables for corrosion and strength. Give each one a good pull. Go all the way down to the motor. Also, check the solenoid for heat. It might be warm but should not be HOT.
