Default 97 ezgo, and 02 ezgo

Looking at buying two carts, I know nothing about them but am pretty mech. inclined. I understand the basics and with a little help I should be on my way. The 02 ezgo was bought and parked, it did run but the batts. have not been charged n a while, needs a good cleaning and some TLC. The 97 needs a controller and batts. good looking body but also needs a few parts. Both carts for 1200.00, good deal????

Sounds like a good deal. If you don't want them, let me know. If they are not to far I will get them.

well i was going to get the 02 txt for my dad to use at the lake, but he says he does not want the hassle w batts., so i decided to get the 97 txt. here is the deal, 97 txt good plastic, new black extended roof, 4" dropped spindle kit(not installed),seat looks good w/ one small tear, a delta 48v charger,a GE D-380 motor, and a logicsystems 700 controller. I am also getting a club car rear end to put the 380 on b/c the controller is for a club car. He is also throwing in 6-8volt batts (used), cable and lugs for batts, wheel bearings and other assorted stuff. He knows more about carts than I could ever know and has assured me he will help me with the build as much as possible. The one thing I will have to do is put a different switch in the pedal assembly to work with the club car controller, there is alittle fab with this I'm told. I hope I am not biting more than I can chew... thanks for your input and comments, this will be my first build and hope I do not pull all of my remaining hair out in the process.btw price is $1200.00, the components are not installed and are used.
