EZGO Powerwise Charger Issue
I recently purchased a 1999 EZGO TXT. The charger will charge, but never pulls over 5-10 amps. It makes a very loud humming noise when charging and it never fully charges the batteries. The batteries are less than 1 year old and run down after 2-3 hours of use.
What would be the problem with the charger? I borrowed a friends charger and it will charge full after approx 6-8 hours. It also has a very quit humming noise when it charges. What do I need to do to fix my charger? cdadams |

Re: EZGO Powerwise Charger Issue
sounds like you may have a bad circuit board.

Could also be a bad diode. I see this a lot when they break loose, or you could be losing your capacitor. Those are the most likely 3 things (the board as mentioned before).

Re: EZGO Powerwise Charger Issue
If you can't figure it out and/or cost too much to repair, just buy mine.
